Since 2017, the Rockford Racing League has brought competitive championship racing to GTA Online. Each season features 15 one-hour races across selected tracks and multiple balanced vehicle classes. The RRL is open to drivers who know the racing basics and can handle close and fair contact racing. To keep the competition authentic, most in-game boosts are banned.

Every class, every track, every result — tested, tracked, and built with intent.
Every vehicle has been extensively tested by multiple test drivers across a range of circuits and conditions to ensure competitive parity within each vehicle class. As a result, no single car offers a clear all-round performance advantage, and the strongest package will depend on the specific characteristics of each track.
To preserve authentic racing, the use of physics exploits that generate artificial speed boosts is strictly prohibited in the RRL. In particular, deliberately using curb boosting or brake boosting to gain an unfair advantage may result in penalty points or exclusion from the competition.
We tested more than 1,000 tracks with various test drivers to provide the best possible racing experience and as much variety as possible for our drivers. Based on a range of criteria, our current catalogue includes around 400 tracks created by some of the best track builders in the GTA community.
For more than ten years, we have tracked every RRL race, result and driver performance. This allows us to provide detailed competitor statistics, individual performance metrics and career profiles, alongside multiple rankings, all-time leaderboards and awards for outstanding achievements.
